As Softchoice’s Director of Territory Sales, you are responsible for leading and managing an entire region within the Territory Sales Division (TSD), consisting of five to eight sales teams across North America and includes thousands of customers and prospects. With an ambitious growth target in Softchoice’s sights, you play an instrumental role in building the team, capacity and differentiated services to get us there.
What you’ll do:
Drive TSD’s mission:
1. Have a highly engaged (hybrid) team. It all starts with your team members. You will lead an entire geographical region within TSD, guiding, mentoring, and removing barriers for your leadership team and AEs to drive high quota participation and engagement. You also have an eye for hiring top talent and realizing their full potential.
2. Provide an exceptional customer experience. You take CX to the next level with a customer first mindset and historical track record of lifting customer experience scores and customer retention rates.
3. Grow our account base. TSD is the “growth engine of Softchoice”. You will activate your teams to retain, grow and acquire customers through relentless activity and leveraging partner relationships.
4. Achieve plan. This will be the outcome from the previous three pillars!
What you’ll bring to the table:
- University degree in business or related field preferred
- 5+ years in sales people management and leading other leaders within the technology industry, preferably in B2B
- Strong SMB experience, selling a breadth of services and solutions
- Track record of increasing responsibilities and having significant impact on customers
- Insatiable curiosity and drive to learn about your customers, your industry and your team
- Proven capacity to deliver measurable impact, be analytical and consistently meet quota
- High integrity and moral compass
