The impact you will have:

 

The Workplace Product Specialist is responsible to grow and diversify targeted buying accounts with client hardware, client software and simple security solutions​. 

This is a selling role within the Commercial Account space that will be focused on selling client hardware software and simple security solutions to named buying accounts. Working in collaboration with the Commercial Account Executive and Client Account Manager the WPS will focus on both expansion of existing categories and the creation of net new categories. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Diversification of accounts specifically in the Workplace Client Hardware​, Client Software, and Simple Security​ solutions 
  • Manage SFDC opportunities for owned categories​ and opportunities. 
  • Manage cases & quote creation for owned categories​ and opportunities. 
  • Manage partner relationships for owned categories. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with all aligned members of Account Team, as well as vendors. 
  • Maintain high degree of collaboration and focus with other team members creating the best possible customer experience. 
  • Work closely with Customer Account Executive and Commercial Account Manager ensuring customers’ business is supported while driving enhanced customer experience. 
  • Work with Softchoice’s partners & vendors to find the best pricing, product availability, and alternative solutions to solve customers’ needs. 
  • Schedule and run customer meetings intended to create and drive demand for Softchoice product and services (remotely and in-person when required) 

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

  • High School or equivalent degree required.
  • 1+ years of IT sales experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated full understanding of Softchoice’s tools and resources and be able to communicate value leveraging the Challenger Sales Methodology. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building. 
  • Demonstrated engaging and effective communication skills can explain and appropriately position complex topics in the context of discussion with peers, team members and customers at all levels. 
  • Proven curiosity and has experience in identifying challenges, as well as instinctively knowing what to do next, to quickly develop solutions to a variety of complex customer, and internal challenges 
  • Proven ability to work under multiple deadlines, in a fast paced, collaborative team environment. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex problems effectively, bringing all parties to a mutually positive outcome. 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS suite of technologies (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Power BI.
