As an Adobe Solution Specialist, you will play a critical role in enabling SMB and Commercial organizations to get the most out of their Adobe investments. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, providing expert guidance on Adobe licensing models, renewals, purchasing options, and long-term digital transformation strategies.
You’ll work cross-functionally with internal sales, technical, and procurement teams, as well as externally with key stakeholders, procurement leaders, and digital strategy executives. As well as manage local vendor partnerships to ensure successful execution of solutions. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, enterprise-focused environment.
This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in your local office once a week.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the primary Adobe VIP Marketplace solution expert for high-value commercial and smb accounts, guiding customers through custom licensing solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through proactive account management, timely support, and white-glove service.
- Manage full sales cycles—including renewals, true-ups, and licensing transitions—while developing customer proposals and pricing comparisons.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, legal, finance, pre-sales, customer success) and Adobe representatives to ensure seamless execution.
- Engage in strategic, executive-level conversations across IT, Procurement, Legal, and Marketing to align Adobe solutions with business outcomes.
- Identify and drive upsell, cross-sell, and net-new licensing opportunities within existing and prospective enterprise accounts.
- Support regional sales teams by delivering Adobe-focused training, co-selling strategies, and participating in customer events.
- Represent Softchoice and Adobe as the subject matter expert and contribute to internal enablement efforts through training and content delivery.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Customer-First Mindset: You excel in delivering exceptional experiences to global enterprise clients and are skilled in anticipating and solving customer needs.
- Sales Acumen: You are confident in driving value-based licensing conversations that result in long-term customer success and revenue growth.
- Exceptional Communication & Mediation Skills: Proven ability to deliver clear, compelling presentations in customer-facing settings, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident and poised in executive-level meetings, able to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and build credibility with senior stakeholders across business and technical functions.
- Adobe Licensing Knowledge: Experience with Adobe licensing programs (VIP, ETLA, VIP Marketplace, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Collaboration Skills: You thrive in a team-oriented environment and know how to bring together resources across departments to close complex deals.
- Ability to Navigate Ambiguity: Demonstrate skills in managing complex customer scenarios with limited information or evolving requirements. Able to remain composed, solution-oriented, and consultative when customer needs are unclear or shifting. Proactively asks the right questions, adapts quickly to change, and guides customers toward clarity and confidence in decision-making.
- The ability to be self-managed and motivated.
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience with 3+ years in either sales or marketing capacity.
- Must have work experience in IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Quoting (SFDC).
- Post-Secondary Degree or equivalent, preferred.
Ability to travel for vendor events as necessary
Compensation:
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Toronto is $62,000 to $77,000 annually + 20% as target incentives.
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
