The impact you will have:


Become the go-to expert in Lenovo datacenter solutions for our clients and our sales force. 


Clients need our help.  Their IT infrastructures cannot keep up with the pace of change their internal and external stakeholders demand.  You can solve these issues for our clients.  As a Lenovo presales Technical Architect, you will design solutions that modernize their datacenter infrastructure utilizing leading edge technologies combined with public cloud deployments where it makes sense based on the client’s requirements.


What you'll do:


  • Drive awareness of Lenovo ISG datacenter solutions within sales teams
  • Working collaboratively with sales team members to progress the pipeline and move the opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Coaching and mentoring sales team members on discovery and management of Lenovo ISG sales opportunities.
  • High quality customer support while meeting service-level objectives around responsiveness
  • Business results though increased attach rates, complete solution design, and services selling
  • Work with other vendors technologies that align with Lenovo ISG to build cross vendor alignment solutions
  • Demo solutions as required
  • Readiness and capability to obtain and maintain accreditations and certifications across Lenovo ISG solutions
  • Work with Lenovo ISG channel sellers and business partners to build alignment
  • Deliver on assessments, sharing insights with factual customer data to help their businesses achieve their goals.

What you'll bring to the table:


  • Minimum of 3+ years of customer-facing technical sales experience in the technology industry, with a strong focus on business development in datacenter solutions
  • Experience working with a technology reseller or manufacturer is preferred
  • As this role is supporting Canada and the United States, it requires ability to travel(up to 25%), understanding market dynamics, managing time zones.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid office environment, ideally based out of our Toronto office
  • Understanding of Lenovo ISG Programs e.g. Lenovo ISG TruScale is highly desired
  • Ability to embrace the technical and business development responsibilities of the role
  • Ability to identify process improvements that will help everyone work more efficiently
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (French is an asset)
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
