The impact you will have:
The Talent Management Program Specialist (TMPS) is a subject matter expert who will guide full-cycle talent management leading practices to ensure Softchoice has and develops the talent it needs to optimize organizational performance.
As an engaged member of the People and Culture team, this individual will foster collaborative and positive team member experiences; align with business strategy and priorities and strengthen our ability to engage and develop our people building organizational agility.
A programmatic focused role, the Talent Management Programs Specialist will help to drive and support programs that include agile performance management, talent review and succession planning, and talent engagement. The successful candidate is a confident, results oriented “roll up your sleeves & get it done” teammate who loves a challenge and being part of a dynamic team!
What you'll do:
- In close partnership with our Manager, Talent Management Programs, you will guide and execute the delivery of programs and processes that power our people-centered, fast-paced, high-performance culture.
- Manage end-to-end goal setting, performance and talent review and succession planning processes and identify process optimization opportunities.
- Execute employee engagement and lifecycle surveys including compilation of our Great Places to Work culture audit submission
- Lead, train, and collaborate with our Employee Experience Team to ensure support on all talent management (TM) programs and processes including technical support for systems.
- Develop TM communication plans and drafts partnering with our Communications Team to support programmatic company-wide messaging.
- Identify and monitor key success metrics for TM programs.
- Execute front-end HRIS activities supporting TM processes and engage with our HRIS Team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
- Create and augment a full portfolio of training sessions, materials and job aids as well as deliver portfolio focused training for our onboarding program.
- Liaise with team members, leaders and program stakeholders, at all levels of the organization delivering a positive employee experience.
What you'll bring to the table:
- The most critical skill required is a deep understanding of how to engage, develop, and retain talent; if you are missing any of the requirements above but solidly meet this critical skill, please do not hesitate to apply
- 3-5 years progressive human resources experience in talent management and/or employee experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Certified Human Resources Practitioner (CHRP) designation an asset
- Familiarity with training content development and delivery
- Versed on industry trends and best practices in talent management
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite & and HR systems (Success Factors)
- Strong project management and time management skills; detail oriented
- Excellent communication & self-management skills
