Curating great content to catch the eye and attention of candidates and those who many not even realize they are a candidate is something you just know how to do – instinctively.  You challenge the status quo – all the time. As our Talent Acquisition Marketing Programs Lead, you will lead our social recruitment strategy to drive new “channels of appeal” to applicants and resulting candidates North American wide.  Our goal is to bring great talent to Softchoice and in the process showcase through job boards, platforms, portals and job profiles how we are different and why we would appeal to active and passive candidates.


As our Talent Acquisition Marketing Programs Lead, you will also help lead & execute our DE&I recruitment strategy. You will be responsible for identifying and managing recruitment partnerships to increase gender & diverse representation at all levels. You will ensure that our job profiles are inclusive and relevant. You will partner with our ERG community and manage our Softchoice Culture Connect program to ensure an inclusive candidate experience. You will also partner with our internal campus team to lead branding for campus and help promote Softchoice as a great place to work for students.

What you’ll do:


  • Create a presence online for Softchoice as an employment destination and employer of choice across North America – increased brand awareness.
  • Curate content that reflects the Softchoice life from blogs, interviews, videos.
  • Manage Glassdoor and drive internal activity to support existing employee feedback to the site.
  • Drive LinkedIn internally so that all employees become search ambassadors for our brand.
  • Effective use of our Job Board investments to show metrics and return on investment as well as recommendations to improve or pivot our approach.
  • Strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Measurable results that demonstrate impact of our social recruitment investments.
  • Referrals from our employee base and close degree connections to our employees past, present and future – and the systems to support this.
  • The rebranding of our Job Profiles from our existing and past job descriptions.
  • Use a variety of methods to continually build our social recruitment opportunities and ensure we can measure the activities and returns.
  • Play an integral part in DE&I recruitment initiatives – coach internal team on how to properly utilize D&I best practices in the recruitment process candidates.
  • Manage relationships with ERG community to help source diverse candidates and manage Culture Connect program.
  • Manage current and identify new DEI recruitment partnerships.
  • Ensure that our job profiles are inclusive of gender and diverse backgrounds.
  • Be a champion of the candidate experience, sourcing, and Hiring Manager relationships.
  • Increase brand awareness across campuses across Canada & the US supporting our various client groups.


What you’ll bring to the table:


  • Experience with on-line community management and engagement.
  • A strong understanding of the recruitment and attraction processes.
  • Experience working with a large program or project initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Presentation skills and the ability to influence recommendations and results to senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate across multiple business units.
  • 5+ years of recruitment/marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes with focus and expertise on branding.
