We are looking for a Senior Manager, Business & Application Support to join our growing IT team here at Softchoice!  We have just completed a major business transformation project that saw us replace our core systems, including a re-implementation of our Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, eCommerce, and FinancialForce platforms.  The dust has settled, and we are now focused on optimization and enhancements.  That’s where you come in!  We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Business & Application Support to help take us from good to great! 
 
The Senior Manager, Business & Application Support will lead a team of administrators, developers, and people leaders who are dedicated to supporting and enhancing our Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, eCommerce, and FinancialForce platforms. 

In conjunction with our Business Analysts and COE members, this individual will be responsible for laying out and delivering against a technical roadmap.  They will nurture and leverage the expertise of their team, and will ensure that they have the technical skills required to support the platform.

What you’ll do:  

 

  • Work with business stakeholders & solution delivery team to identify and address Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, eCommerce, and FinancialForce needs that deliver the highest business value, with a view on people, process and technology. 
  • Manage and communicate status of all work in progress via IT PMO. 
  • Own the creation, regular communication, and delivery of a clearly defined roadmap for all business applications. 
  • Establish and communicate KPI’s that provide insight into the performance and usage of all aspects of the business applications platforms. 
  • Stay aware of emerging technology and functionalities of the Salesforce ecosystem, and leverage for solving of current business problems. 
  • Govern Platform maintenance activities, including regular monitoring and regression testing of seasonal Salesforce updates. 
  • Lead High level technical design & effort estimation in conjunction with COE. 
  • Provide a first class experience for our internal users by quickly addressing support tickets and escalations.  
  • Own the management of vendor and MSP relationships. 
  • Closely monitor and control changes to the platform. 
  • Streamline environment maintenance and deployment procedures 
  • Maintain documentation such as architecture & design, developer notes, estimates, etc. 
  • Be the thought leader regarding the general direction of platforms under management (Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, eCommerce, FinancialForce.) 

 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

 

  • 5 + years of leadership experience leading high performing teams, including supervisors and/or managers 
  • Extensive experience leading salesforce teams in a hybrid/remote setting 
  • Be proficient with salesforce core architecture (such as best practices and governing limits) and have a good understanding of data governance. 
  • Experience implementing sales and or service cloud for the enterprise (1000+ users) 
  • Have solid understanding of integration technologies (MuleSoft) and salesforce APIs. 
  • Salesforce Admin and Advanced Admin certification are required. 
  • Salesforce CPQ experience and/or certification would be a valuable asset 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 
  • Collaborative conflict resolution experience 
  • Highly self-directed with ability to manage ambiguity.
