The impact you will have:
The Senior Manager of Hybrid Cloud Architecture will be responsible for growing Softchoice’s product business related to our customer’s Hybrid Cloud transformational journey. You will focus on leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Hybrid Cloud Architects (Presales Solution Architects) and other supporting team members in ensuring our customers are provided with an exceptional solution and service experience.
In this role, you and your team will engage directly with customers to understand their desired outcomes, lead with insights, and craft integrated solutions to achieve them. You will lead your team, in collaboration with cross-functional business leaders, in creative deal making and negotiations of complex and complete, contracted solutions and long-term programs directly with customers. Your team will own creation of estimates, proposals, adoption program roadmaps, and RFP bid responses. You will collaborate with Softchoice District Sales Leaders, Commercial Account Executives, Specialty Sales Executives, Business Development, and our Partners to positively impact our business.
You will work with Solution and Product managers to facilitate field feedback collection and sharing so that Softchoice solutions can be improved, and innovation can continue at the pace of change of technology. You will collaborate with Business Development management peers and vendor partners to grow the business by way of supporting opportunity generating campaigns and programs. You will lead special projects that support your team directly and drive success in other parts of the business as it relates to the goals of the Hybrid Cloud Architecture team.
What you'll do:
- Drive year over year growth of the Hybrid Cloud Products
- Maximize employee contribution by recruiting, developing, mentoring, and motivating employees to deliver excellence
- Evaluate, assign, and monitor the Hybrid Cloud Architect team’s activity, ensuring optimal resource utilization and quality delivery
- Provide in-field deal coaching and be personally involved in strategic customer engagements
- Ensure alignment with peers in other adjacent teams such as the PS operations, PS Delivery, and Managed Services teams to deliver a consistent customer experience for our clients
- Partner with Field Success Manager and District Sales Leaders to develop initiatives designed to achieve sales goals, and build loyalty with top customers
- Collaborate with Softchoice’s Solution Development Teams on the successful introduction of new offerings
- Assist with our departmental transformation and growth through continual business improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Business Development leadership and vendor partners to represent Softchoice within the market segments your team supports
- Maintain focus on employee engagement ensuring programs, efforts, and strategies to enhance employee experience are actioned on and integrated into your management process as measured by periodic OneEngage surveys conducted anonymously
What you bring to the table:
- 10+ years in industry experience and 5+ years of experience leading high performing teams of IT professionals
- 5+ years of experience with sales/presales leadership or high performing individual contribution as an influential leader or sales contributor
- Management experience in a Professional Services or Managed Service organization is a plus
- Excellent leadership qualities, leaving a lasting and positive employee experience
- Demonstrated ability to accommodate a high level of change and adapt accordingly
- Strong knowledge of market leading Hybrid Cloud technology trends and solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- In-depth knowledge of business strategy and operations
- Collaborative conflict resolution experience
- Highly self-directed with the ability to manage ambiguity
- Ability to travel to and from key Sales and Customer locations (10-30% travel)
- Post-Secondary Degree or equivalent experience
