The impact you will have: 

 

This position is responsible for official engagement with partners via standard Softchoice Partner Agreements. The Specialist, Partner Solutions will periodically review partners’ performance to ensure that they are meeting our customers' expectations for service delivery. Reviews will also measure partners’ performance on pre¬sales support to our sales teams, compliance to billing and reporting needs and overall business relationship with Softchoice.

 

What you’ll do:  

 

  • Actively participate in opportunities in the presales cycle both internally and externally by providing customer discovery calls, sales management, training, and rep support.
  • Actively participate in strategy development of new services and offerings.
  • Proactively work with stakeholders to establish partner resource requirements for the delivery of professional services that are not performed in-house.
  • Oversee negotiations and establish official contractual relationship with service providers via appropriate Softchoice partner agreement.
  • Responsible for onboarding and management of the relationships between Softchoice and suppliers providing partner services to Softchoice in support of our customers.
  • Develop, recommend, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of partner solutions in support of the Professional Services organization.
  • Provide accessible information about types of partner solutions offered and cost of those services.
  • Manage a revenue plan of 4 to 10M book of business.

 

What you’ll bring to the table: 
 

  • Post¬Secondary Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with client focus and account management.
  • Experience managing partners, suppliers, or vendors as an account manager or partner manager in IT industry.
  • Experience negotiating IT professional services contracts and alliance agreements.
  • Expert relationship building with strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive practical knowledge of services delivery and IT consulting.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage professional relationships.
  • Ability to solve practice problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
