The impact you'll have:


The impact you'll have at Softchoice is to continue to build on existing systems, and also create and implement new integrations and applications within our ServiceNow environment. This allows us to provide a great customer and user experience, but as well as create opportunities to learn and grow within the tools and team. This role reports to Supervisor, Application Development.


What you'll do:


  • Focus internally and externally on integrations between systems including: 
  • eBonding implementation  
  • CMDB 
  • Monitoring platform integration 
  • Design, implementation, and deployment of ServiceNow  
  • Aid the team in ServiceNow development and ITSM tasks 
  • Translate business requirements into development tasks 
  • Conducting UAT in all environments (Prod, Test and Dev) 
  • Knowledge transfer within the team 
  • Collect regular feedback from operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement and work to implement enhancements 
  • Act as SME with respect to technical and functional design requirements, general data concepts, mapping and relationships 
  • Create and maintain existing processes, utilizing custom features and forms 
  • Manage technical vendor relationship and vendor escalations 
  • Provide regular view into overall health and performance of system as well as recommendations to management 
  • Manage and reply to tickets related to Managed Service tools and applications 
  • Other System admin duties as assigned 


What you'll bring to the table:


  • Post graduate education in Computer Science or related area. 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting issues and developing solutions within ServiceNow as well as development experience 
  • Prior experience with eBonding and integration implementation 
  • Creation of script-based Assignment and Approval rule. 
  • Creation of Business Rule, UI Action by using Glide script. 
  • Web Service Integration 
  • User Interface Level Integration 
  • MID Server Integration 
  • AngularJS, Node.js and Bootstrap 
  • Use of Import Sets for data loading from external file or database to the 
  • Creation of custom related list. 
  • Experience in issue identification, troubleshooting, review, and resolution 
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM tools and workflow 
  • Experience in Incident, Problem, Request, Knowledge, and Change processes 
  • Experience of developing CSM, ITSM and ITOM  
  • Completion of ITIL Foundation v.3 or 4 certification
