As our Senior Financial Analyst, you will have no shortage of unique, compelling challenges – and no established rulebook for getting us to the right strategy. You will leverage your expertise, analytical strengths and leadership powers to drive our vision for rapid growth and cement our position as a top-tier innovation partner. You will work closely with business partners and executives to provide fact-based analysis and a rigorous approach strategic decision making. You will provide annual financial planning and short- and long-term forecasting with speed, accuracy and relevancy. You will also be expected to establish best practices, implement standards and elevate the performance and output of your extended team. 

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Build and maintain financial models to support annual planning process, monthly forecasting process and strategic business decisions by senior management.

  • Manage the Softchoice P&L results versus forecast, plan & year ago to provide commentary, analysis & insights to drive business decisions. 

  • Provide support and help deliver the Annual Plan build for Softchoice through scenario analysis and collaboration with business partners to build the P&L. 

  • Co-ordinate and prepare monthly forecast updates for senior leadership team.

  • Provide Senior Leadership and Functional group P&L support on a monthly basis. 

  • Provide support for M&A activity as required. 

  • Provide support for high impact projects based on a thorough understanding of the company’s financial position and business model. Examples of such projects could include capital structure analyses and build vs. buy decisions.

 

What you'll bring to the table:

 

You are a well-rounded and ambitious finance professional, with excellent financial modeling and cross-functional capabilities. You come with a deep understanding of FP&A, M&A, investment banking, and/or management consulting, gained from in dynamic, large-scale industries with a focus on technology and customer experiences. You are looking for a new and unique challenge in a creative environment, where you will be able to grow your career and your impact. You thrive in teams, excel in fast-paced environments and seek to join a high-caliber, high-performance team that puts its people first, always.   

 

You'll also have:

  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate qualifications and 2+ years of related experience.

  • Driven to discover reasons for financial trends and provide insightful financial analysis. 

  • Exceptional financial modeling skills with advanced Excel knowledge.

  • CFA or MBA or CPA designation preferred, but not required.
