The impact you will have:


Are you passionate about diving into data, generating insights and turning those insights into action? Have you built annual Sales Plans, and are you skilled at creating models? The Senior Analyst, Sales Planning & Analytics, will create and own the annual sales planning model and work on strategic analytics projects to drive sales growth. This is a critical function in supporting the long-term plan of the sales organization and requires the incumbent to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights, and effectively communicate them to sales and executive leadership. 


What you’ll do: 


  • Create and own the annual sales planning model. 
  • Develop and present analysis related to strategic initiatives to the leadership team. 
  • Evaluate sales headcount investment opportunities and model long term impacts. 
  • Assess sales coverage and customer segmentation. 
  • Evolve and define territory optimization and planning guidelines. 
  • Support cost-benefit analysis for sales compensation. 
  • Work with the Governance team to implement recommended changes and programs.  
  • Create PowerBI Reports to track progress towards key programs and objectives. 
  • Champion the standardization of and use of data in reporting.  
  • Support the ongoing planning processes. 


What you’ll bring to the table:


  • Experience developing Sales Plans. 
  • Ability to succinctly present data driven insights to a senior leadership audience. 
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with sound business judgement. 
  • Excel expert, proficient in PowerBI (or equivalent) and previous experience creating models. 
  • Strong PowerPoint and communication skills. 
  • Experience with Statistical analysis in R or Python is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a complex and fast paced environment. 
  • 2 - 5 years of Business Analyst, Sales Analyst and/or similar reporting & analytics role. 
  • Experience working with Sales or Customer data in a B2B Technology environment. 
  • The ability to work with high degree of focus and attention to detail is a must. 
  • Experience with a CRM Platform (Saleforce.com) will be beneficial.
