As Softchoice becomes a leader in Security capabilities, we need an individual who will become the voice of Security for our customers. This includes creating a structure for how we build solutions and bring them to market, as well as leading the delivery of Security workshops for our customers. As the Security Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing our Security Center of Excellence. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction and contribute to our financial growth. By leading the delivery of funded Security Workshops, you will be instrumental in enhancing our customers’ understanding of security measures, thereby fostering trust and loyalty.

 

This role will directly contribute to the growth and success of our organization by:

  • Function as a thought and strategic leader, innovating the Softchoice Security and GTM strategies
  • Work with multiple security business to ensure proper representation and security vision
  • Enhancing customer trust in Softchoice’s products and services, which will lead to increased customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Generating revenue for Softchoice through the delivery of Build Intent Workshops and the follow-on Security Services opportunities these workshops will uncover.
  • Driving innovation within the organization by unlocking the potential in people and technology.
  • Responsible for growing the Softchoice Security Workplace practice overall and showing this by helping with strategic activities for introducing and improving new services, as well as training and delivery enablement campaigns.

 

What you’ll do:

 

To achieve these impacts, the Security Principal Architect will have core responsibilities in the following areas:

Be the innovator

  • Strategic Thinker: Create solutions that address the industry challenges and enable customers to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborator: Learn from the experiences of other security teams at Softchoice and how they are supporting customers. Find ways to align and improve our unified security message and strategy.
  • Leader in Innovation: Highlight how Softchoice applies best practices and expertise to secure our workplace, and showcase our security portfolio

 

Build a Security Center of Excellence (COE)

  • Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic plan for the Security COE that aligns with the organization’s overall goals.
  • Security Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of security protocols and measures to build a robust and effective COE.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the COE meets the needs of customers and the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and improve the COE’s effectiveness, staying abreast of the latest security trends and technologies.

 

Develop Security Workshops

  • Content Development: Create engaging and informative content for Security Workshops, ensuring it is tailored to the audience’s needs and level of understanding.
  • Technical Knowledge: Leverage deep technical knowledge to develop workshops that cover a wide range of security topics.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure the workshops address the security concerns and questions most relevant to customers.
  • Innovation: Continually innovate the workshop content and delivery methods to keep them fresh, relevant, and engaging.

 

Lead the Delivery of Security Workshops

  • Leadership: Provide technical leadership to the team of Security Consultants delivering the workshops.
  • Communication: Communicate complex security concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the delivery of workshops to ensure they meet the organization’s quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Gather and incorporate feedback from workshop participants to continually improve the workshop content and delivery.

 

Program Facilitation:

  • Program Leadership: Work with multiple Business Units within Softchoice to ensure alignment with security products and services portfolios.  Maintain revenue and FM numbers for Workplace Security
  • Customer Driver: Facilitate programs within Workplace Security that drives customer acquisition, growth, and  retention of our current customer base
  • Market Differentiation: Participate in workflows that makes Softchoice stand out as a leader in Workplace Security and increase customer demand for Security service capabilities
  • Internal Development: Ensure understanding of our Workplace Security goals and direction.  Develop and Participate in sales and pre sales motions to ensure Softchoice resources are enabled on the security direction.

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

This is the role for a visionary that thrives with a high degree of ownership and brings demonstrated experience in leading the way with new technologies.

  • 5+ years of experience in a security consulting role or similar, with a proven track record of driving the understanding and adoption of technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating workshops and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in customer engagement, with a focus on understanding customer needs and guiding them in leveraging technology to its full potential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and relatable manner.
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills, with the ability to design and implement engaging workshops tailored to the needs of the audience.
  • Strong understanding of technology, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for technology and its potential to drive change and innovation.
  • A strong desire to learn new things and continuously improve.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
