The impact you'll make:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Search & Relevance Specialist to manage and optimize our Algolia-powered search infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in enhancing the customer experience on our B2B eCommerce platform by improving product discoverability, search relevance, and performance. 

What you'll do:

• Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Algolia search environment. 
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to align search behavior with evolving eCommerce enhancements. 
• Implement and refine search features such as hierarchical menus, faceted filtering, synonyms, and typo tolerance. 
• Monitor customer search behavior and usage analytics to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement. 
• Create and manage Algolia Rules to support merchandising, promotions, and business logic. 
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across product indices, working closely with PIM and backend teams. 
• Stay current with Algolia product updates and best practices to recommend new capabilities. 

What you'll bring to the table:

• 3+ years of experience managing search platforms (Algolia preferred) in an eCommerce or digital product environment. 
• Strong understanding of search UX, relevance tuning, and data modeling for search. 
• Experience with JavaScript, JSON, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus. 
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Algolia Insights) and A/B testing methodologies. 
• Ability to translate customer feedback and behavioral data into actionable search enhancements. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in B2B eCommerce, especially in technology or SaaS sectors. 
• Knowledge of headless commerce architecture and integration with platforms like AppDirect or SAP. 
• Exposure to personalization engines and recommendation systems.
