The impact you will have:

Softchoice AI Solutions Group is seeking a Manager of Workplace AI Consulting to lead our team of consultants, trainers, and technical consultants.

The Manager of Workplace AI Consulting is a critical role within the AI Solutions organization to help drive the successful delivery of Workplace AI Consulting projects. The Workplace AI Consulting team delivers on professional services engagements ranging from Proof of Value for AI solutions, to Business Management and Change Management in AI Consulting. The Manager will directly oversee a diverse group of professionals, including principal consultants, program managers, change management, learning, and technical consultants.
 

What you'll do:

Leadership and Team Management

• Manage and mentor a team of Workplace AI individual contributors, including principal and change management consultants, learning specialists, and technical consultants.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth within the team.

• Provide strategic guidance to direct reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Monitor and maintain success criteria, including team billable utilization, resource allocation, forecasting, etc.

Project Delivery and Execution

• Oversee the successful delivery of Workplace AI Consulting projects, including business consulting engagements, user adoption and change management engagements, training, and assessments.

• Ensure all projects meet high-quality standards, are completed on time, and stay within budget.

• Act as an escalation point for critical project challenges and customer concerns.

Operational and Strategic Planning

• Bring your experience and thought leadership in collaboration with senior leadership to align Workplace AI Consulting strategy with broader organizational objectives.

• Identify opportunities to improve delivery models, tools, and methodologies for Workplace AI Consulting projects.

• Support resource planning, forecasting, and capacity management to ensure team readiness for future project demands.

• Partner and collaborate with professional services and AI solutions delivery teams to deliver on projects where multiple services teams are engaged.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor for their Workplace AI needs.

• Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities for service expansion and deliver compelling value propositions. 

What you'll bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, HR Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7+ years of experience in technology consulting, professional services, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

• Expertise in AI, especially Microsoft 365 Copilot, or business management/change management including hands-on experience with AI solutions and/or technology-related change management.

• Proven ability to manage diverse teams, drive performance, and achieve operational excellence.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and organizational challenges.

• Experience with technology consulting or professional services organizations.

• Familiarity with resource and capacity planning tools and processes.
