We are looking for a Manager, ERP Applications to join our growing IT team here at Softchoice! 

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, ERP Applications, this role is responsible for the management, integration, and support of our SAP S/4 Hana platform.  This position will lead a team of functional and technical SAP resources and Application Management Service providers, which together design and deliver projects and enhancements, monitor critical SAP operational activities, and provide support for our applications.


What you’ll do:

 

  • Work with business stakeholders and the solution delivery team to identify and address needs that deliver the highest business value.
  • Work with the IT Infrastructure & Operations teams to implement improvements on application design/performance.
  • Overall responsibility for SAP application development and maintenance
  • Manage and communicate status of all work in progress via IT PMO.
  • Lead development and evolution of the SAP roadmap and/or release strategy.
  • Analyze and interpret SAP functional requirements and specifications and work closely with SAP team members and solution delivery to develop, test and implement.
  • Assign and manage internal SAP team members and Application Management Service (AMS) providers to complete on-going tasks and project deliverables as prioritized by business stakeholders and the solution delivery team.
  • Lead and oversee activities of assigned projects to ensure goals and objectives are achieved within approved time frames, scope and budget.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on SAP technical solutions.
  • Work with the IT Infrastructure and Operations teams to implement improvements on application design/performance.
  • Effectively communicate information in both technical and business environments.


What you’ll bring to the table:

 

  • SAP Experience including:
    • Functional knowledge of SAP, SAP Tools, Solution Manager and integration with other systems.
    • Knowledge of SAP/S4 data models and analysis.
    • Knowledge of SAP Basis and Security.
    • Experience with some SAP modules: FI-CO, SD/MM, MDM, etc.
    • Knowledge of MuleSoft and Salesforce is an asset.
    • Some experience with development technologies/tools: Fiori, ABAP, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative conflict resolution experience.
  • Highly self-directed with ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in MIS/IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited college/university.
