The impact you'll make:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Leader to oversee and drive our Managed Services Provider (MSP) Audit program. This leadership role is accountable for ensuring Softchoice meets all programmatic, compliance, and accreditation requirements across multiple technology vendor partner audits. You will lead complex audit cycles virtually, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver favorable audit outcomes.
The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of audit governance with exceptional leadership, project management, and vendor engagement skills.
What You'll Do:
Audit Governance & Compliance
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) meetings, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate on corporate Business Process Management Lifecycle (BPML), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives.
- Participate in corporate ISO and SOC audit planning, evidence gathering, and submission.
Vendor MSP Audit Leadership
- Serve as the primary expert on program milestones for Microsoft, Cisco, Google, VMware, Lenovo, AWS, and other OEM MSP audits.
- Own and manage OEM audit control lists, conduct gap analyses, and coordinate remediation with SMEs and business stakeholders.
- Maintain a strict process for evidence collection and documentation, ensuring deadlines are met by both Individual Contributors and Managers.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines through complex, overlapping workstreams.
- Provide clear, concise communications on audit statuses, risks, remediation plans, and required actions.
- Participate in executive steering committees, presenting updates, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with leaders across Services, Business Development, Technical Pre-Sales, Sales, and Solution Development to enable collaboration.
Strategic & Operational Excellence
- Identify the business value of MSP accreditations, track associated costs, and measure ROI.
- Monitor and report on employee engagement and experience during audit cycles.
- Manage work assignments in ServiceNow PPM and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Implement AI-enabled automation and reporting to streamline audit tracking and compliance.
- Publish quarterly audit schedules, program costs, membership requirements, and risk frameworks to corporate stakeholders.
- Maintain and update intranet content monthly with audit health and status reports.
- Refresh audit governance frameworks periodically, incorporating lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
What you'll bring to the table:
Leadership & Project Management
- Proven ability to lead teams of peers and influence stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong process orientation with meticulous attention to detail.
- PMP®, PgMP®, or equivalent program/project management certification required.
Audit & Compliance Expertise
- Membership in the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or ISACA preferred.
- Demonstrated experience navigating MSP, specialization, and competency audits for multiple global technology vendors.
Technical & Communication Skills
- Skilled in public speaking and delivering presentations via video, whiteboarding, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align multiple stakeholders toward a common goal.
- Adept at leveraging Agile methodologies for task execution.

Location: Remote/Hybrid (depending on business needs)
