The impact you'll have:

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Data Presales Engineer to join our team. This seasoned individual will be responsible for demonstrating how data plays a key role in AI outcomes. Strong in presenting enterprise-scale data analytics solutions for customers, focusing on different industry and functional use cases. The ideal candidate will be inspirational for the customer, curious about their business, and have a deep understanding of data concepts. A moderate understanding of cloud services is also required.

What you'll do:

• Demonstrate data solutions to executive-level customers, showcasing its potential across various industries and functional areas.

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs and inspire them with how data can help drive business outcomes.

• Drawing upon your deep knowledge of data, explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.

• Own the development and execution of customer-facing presentations.

• Using feedback and experience garnered from past presentations, ensure content remains fresh and relevant, updating and improving presentations over time as required.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in data products and related cloud services.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert and go-to resource when it comes to all things data.

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager, AI Solutions Architecture, and other team members to ensure alignment with overall strategy.

• Provide meaningful and actionable observations and feedback from customer interactions to help improve our data solutions and services offerings.

• Provide industry insights to Softchoice leadership based on these customer interactions.

What you'll bring to the table:

• ​5+ years’ progressively senior experience in a customer-facing role within the technology sector

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is considered a plus

• Relevant certifications in the data space (Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate is preferred)

• Proven experience in demonstrating data solutions and engaging with line-of-business and/or IT customers as well as C-suite customers with a focus on business value of data solutions

• Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts and solutions across various industries

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience

• Experience with data analysis, visualization, frameworks, and modeling tools (Fabric, BigQuery, Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Passion for technology and a desire to learn new things.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
