Through a consultative sales approach, combined with proven Cisco Security sales experience, you solve their business challenges by strategically positioning Cisco Security solutions that drive their business outcomes, compliment their current and planned Security investments, and reduce complexity and risk, while strategically navigating cost.

 

The Cisco Security Sales Specialist will be responsible for execution of the overall Cisco Security GTM  strategy, including tight integration across our Cisco, Sales, and Services teams.

 

What you'll do:

 

You will be responsible for executing the Cisco Security sales strategy in your territory, successfully performing against sales targets, and elevating our market position through competitive tactics. Qualified candidates should bring proven experience in selling Cisco Security solutions, including explaining key features and benefits to customers with advanced ability to identify new opportunities that meet specific customer needs.

 

Working closely with our Commercial, Enterprise, and Telesales sales teams, you will position Cisco Security solutions and deliver roadmap presentations, support trials and demos, and educate customers to drive account expansion, diversification and new customer acquisition.

 

  • Drive a robust pipeline of Cisco Sales Opportunities
  • Work closely with our broader Cisco Pre-Sales team and Sales Reps to directly engage customers to strategically introduce Cisco Security Products & Solutions
  • Uncover new Cisco Security opportunities and lead them through to close
  • Be responsible for executing and co-creating a Cisco Security GTM Sales motion
  • Collaborate with sales and our extended Cisco team to develop Cisco Security growth plans for assigned accounts, and develop and foster opportunities to improve sales performance and win new customers.
  • Participate in local customer events to deliver Softchoice content
  • Develop & Deliver training to Softchoice sales teams on Cisco Security products and strategy
  • Engage with local Softchoice sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts


What you'll bring to the table:

 

  • 2+ years selling Cisco Security solutions, or a comparable Cisco Security specific role
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Security solutions and sales experience
  • Experience as SME uncovering, leading, and closing opportunities
  • Extraordinary presentation, communication, and influence skills (written and verbal)
  • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or industry Security-specific competency preferred
