The impact you will have:
As a Business Process Consultant, reporting to the Director of Process Optimization, you will provide consulting and enablement services to Directors, Vice Presidents, and Sr. Executives, through a disciplined approach to identify, design, execute, document, measure and monitor core business processes, in alignment with our organizational strategy.
What you’ll do:
You will have the responsibility of supporting organizational efficiency by:
- Developing an unmatched breadth of knowledge of Softchoice business operations, critical success factors, and Employee Experience drivers
- Influencing Executives and our Board of Directors on the best opportunities to improve Employee Experience, Customer Experience, and efficiency across the entire organization
- Leading expert-level Problem Identification, Root Cause Analysis, Process Design and/or Design Thinking workshops, approaching the most complex organizational problems in a highly customer and employee-centric, empathic way
- Having responsibility for successfully optimizing Softchoice business processes, per alignment with the Softchoice Board of Directors and ELT project priorities, based on quantitative evaluation of business process effectiveness and organizational goals
- Creating and governing a sustainable process for business process documentation and ongoing updates
- Guiding, leading, and influencing Executives and business stakeholders on how to effectively plan and execute organizational behavioural change needed to realize expected benefits from the new process design
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 5+ years leading Business Transformation or Process Improvement initiatives at companies of 1000+ employees
- Certification as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP), or Certified Business Process Leader (CBPL) designation is strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of DMAIC Six Sigma required, experience with Design Thinking is preferred
- Experience with ADKAR change methodology and root cause identification methodologies, such as 5 why’s, pareto, or fishbone
- Seasoned workshop facilitation skills with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, with knowledge on how to create a safe environment for sharing ideas, bringing out the best in people and synthesizing a plan of action for business process improvement
- Strong analytical skills, to effectively determine patterns/key themes, areas of opportunity for business process improvement and provide a clear perspective on current business processes
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders, without having direct authority
- A high level of professionalism and ability to work under pressure (with deadlines and multiple stakeholders)
- A desire to learn multiple areas of a business and work within a cross-functional team
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Visio is required
