As the Associate Talent Advisor, Campus & Inside Sales, you will execute campus strategy for North America. You will drive recruitment strategy for co-ops, interns, and new graduates across all lines of business. You will collaborate with hiring managers to bring in top student talent into Softchoice, increase Softchoice brand awareness and create a pipeline of future talent. In this role, you will be the face of Softchoice on campus building relationships with candidates and partners. 


You are also responsible for the day-to-day recruitment activities to support our hiring for inside sales. You will partner closely with Sales Operations and the business to ensure that we are delivering full forecasted classes up to 11 times a year to meet the ongoing needs of the business.  You will be partnering with our hiring managers to source, assess and advise on top quality candidates for roles while using creative sourcing techniques for inside sales roles.

What you’ll do:


  • Execute a best-in-class campus recruitment strategy for co-op, interns and new graduates across all lines of business.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the US Internship program within Sales. 
  • Increase brand awareness across campuses across Canada & the US supporting our various client groups.
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods to continually build and maintain a talent pool – both now and for the future.
  • Screen resumes/profiles through different tools including LinkedIn, Indeed and SuccessFactors.
  • Source candidates on social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter through groups and campaigns.
  • Advise hiring managers on overall hiring process, collaborate on job details, and advise on effective candidate assessment/interview techniques.
  • Manage assigned business groups through ongoing communication and relationship building with hiring managers.
  • Gain solid understanding of business in order to proactively develop and execute effective recruitment strategies. 
  • Deliver end-to-end search on active roles – develop job-based recruiting strategies, generate accurate job descriptions, determine core capabilities for successful hires, and generate assessment content to measure those capabilities/potential.
  • Screen shortlist candidates, conduct and lead interview process, manage debrief discussions and offer processes (includes compensation recommendation and offer negotiation).


What you’ll bring to the table:


  • Understanding of the recruitment and attraction processes.
  • Experience working with a large program or project initiative. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • The ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate across multiple business units.
  • Ability to build confidence and strong relationships with hiring managers and sales leaders.
  • Proven success using variety of sourcing strategies including social medial and referral generation. 
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience including campus recruitment.
