The impact you will have:
 
The primary focus of this role is to proactively maintain the integrity and accuracy of the renewals database. The Analyst, Programs & Operations is responsible for managing the policies that govern Softchoice’s renewals data including acquisition of data, transformation, and handoff to downstream systems to ensure compliance, through a high focus on innovation and data analytics. This will include accountability for managing key performance indicators, recommending process improvement, and owning the project management of these initiatives. This individual will also be responsible for supporting analysis of broader Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and identifying opportunities for improved performance across the Business Development organization.

 

What you’ll do:

 

•    Provide analysis of trends, customer experience and propose strategic recommendations.
•    Assist in establishing policies and procedures to ensure renewal data meets defined quality targets.
•    Establish the policies for setting up, maintaining, validating, and cleansing renewal data.
•    Assist the Manager in defining key performance indicator (KPIs) for all renewals data parameters, and build/maintain relevant dashboards.
•    Assist the team in the creation of business rules, data structures and entities to maximize automation and increase accuracy rate.
•    Manage large data sets and navigate a variety of data types and data structures to complete analyses, including the ability to summarize, quality check, evaluate data and provide recommendations based on data trends.
•    Proactively identify data issues, perform root cause analysis and provide recommendation to drive data issue resolution.
•    Maintain changes to data process maps, document new processes and support ongoing audit requirements.
•    Write SQL queries to find answers to complex business questions.
•    Act as a subject matter expert and support corporate projects to ensure that processes meet data policies and procedures best practices.
•    Work closely with IT and Master Data teams to help maintain/develop/refine the data model to ensure it meets business needs.  
•    Document and maintain department Risk Management processes.
•    Management of project plan(s) for all ongoing projects within the Renewals Team.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

•    3 years of experience in a Master Data Analyst, or similar, role.
•    Experience with Salesforce, SQL, PowerBI, and other data science tools (e.g. Python) is required.
•    Familiarity with SAP an asset.
•    Will embrace the technical and business development responsibilities of the role.
•    Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Will apply strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•    Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Have a high level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
•    Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with all levels of management.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills with strong orientation towards high energy team-based work environments.  
•    Self-Driven, ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
•    Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work from multiple streams and discern urgency.
•    Action oriented and results driven with a high degree of customer focus.   
•    Displays composure and self-awareness in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.
•    Creative, out-of-the-box thinker, with high change agility and strong conceptual and problem solving.
•    University degree or college diploma.
