You have hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud and have been described by some as the ultimate translator between business needs and technical design. 


You speak ‘Business” and “IT” and know the impact of bringing the right business requirements to the table. We know that behind the scenes, you really run the show and are the true “go-to-person” inside the business. 


The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting the Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud platform as well as enhancements or enabling new features to support our business needs. We know you are analytical, hands-on and will enjoy digging into our requirements and translating them into Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud solutions.  End to end Sales Cycle that includes (but not limited to):  Lead, Campaign, Account, Contact, Opportunity, Cases, etc.  The teams at Softchoice using Salesforce will be counting on you! 


What you’ll do: 


  • Maintain / Support (60%)
    • Provide day to day SFDC platform and user support.
    • Provide ongoing training for Salesforce.com users. Provide updates and education on new features, benefits, reports etc.
    • Manage users, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations.
    • Ensure proper security models are in place and maintained for data access.
    • Assist with creating and managing Report/Dashboard structure.
    • Manage Salesforce system issues/bug fixes, and feature releases via rotation with other Application Administrators; help troubleshoot, investigate, and implement solutions to identified issues.
    • Perform mass uploads and updates of data as required. Assist with monitoring data quality.
    • Work within sandbox environments and follow a release schedule, to maintain system integrity.
    • Help with regression testing during Salesforce releases.
    • Assist with Technical documentation.
  • Business Analysis (20%)
    • Work with business users to document business process, problem, and gather requirements for enhancements.
    • Translate business requirements into logical technical designs; define technical solutions in Salesforce.com to support business work processes.
    • Work closely with departments including sales, professional services operations, customer service, and IT to implement new features, functionalities and processes.
    • Create, maintain detailed documentation for technical designs, project plans, deployments and training documents.
    • Design test plans and manage execution of plans, documenting failures for developers and others to correct. Drive resolution of all issues that come up during development phase.
    • Communicate project status to key stakeholders throughout entire development process.
  • Design/Build (20%)
    • Design, develop and configure customized solutions using the full Salesforce toolset including custom objects and fields, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, process builder, etc.
    • Focus on declarative solutions.
    • Work closely with business partners to review operational processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation; create and manage any complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
    • Assist with Testing/QA.
    • Build customized solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems that support business requirements and process.
    • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
    • Work with developers to provide direction where advanced solutions are required (e.g., Apex classes, triggers, VisualForce).


What you’ll bring to the table: 


  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1+ years of experience as SFDC Admin, BSA, or BA.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (201) or higher.
  • Experience with Lightning UI is preferred.
  • Familiar with Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills are required; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • DataLoader experience.
