As Softchoice’s Senior Director, Canadian Federal Sales, your job is to create opportunity in a rapidly evolving segment, taking back control of the sales conversation and delivering customer experiences that build true loyalty. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of serving National Defence-related customers and Shared Services Canada, positioning Softchoice to expand its business footprint and elevate our brand within these strategic segments. You'll drive initiatives to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities, ensuring our solutions are perfectly tailored to the unique needs and objectives of these federal entities. By prioritizing growth and brand development in these areas, you'll help elevate Softchoice’s reputation as a trusted partner in the Canadian Federal market.
What you'll do:

Engage Customers Differently: Our sales teams distinguish themselves through an insight-driven approach, leveraging comprehensive industry expertise and customer understanding to challenge conventional thinking and identify our clients’ true needs. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating these customer-focused, high-performing teams, guiding their attention toward business outcomes and equipping them to take innovative approaches that encourage our clients to pursue the most beneficial solutions.

Active Leadership: You split your time between building partner relationships for growth and mentoring your team with active leadership, which includes relationship laddering with customers and participating in strategic procurement initiatives. Your actions demonstrate that you prioritize the success of employees, partners, and customers over your own.

Growth and Loyalty: You consistently surpass sales targets and deliver great customer experiences to boost growth and loyalty. You offer tailored Softchoice solutions across procurement and professional services, impressing customers and increasing returns.
What you'll bring to the table:

Proven business impact in Federal sectors, with in-depth knowledge of National Defence, Shared Services Canada, and public safety agencies.

Expert in Federal contracting vehicles for technology and professional services procurement.

Direct experience with infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud solutions.

Thorough understanding of CISD and departmental security clearance processes.

Oversaw organizational profit and loss statements and maintained financial responsibility.

Excellent written and verbal communication; able to build executive relationships with customers and partners.

10+ years of technology sales leadership in Federal markets preferred.

Skilled in developing strategies for business growth via sales campaigns and targeted bids.

Experience with MEDDPICC, bilingual in English and French, and active Federal security clearance considered an asset.

Willing to travel up to 25%.

Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred.
