The impact you will have:


Collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and Sales to ensure scheduling and availability of technical resources in support of project and pre-sales requirements across North America. 

Being a Resource Manager is about more than assigning work. Having the right person on a project can make the difference between success and failure.  At Softchoice, we deliver thousands of Professional Services engagements each year, and you will be part of a team that makes sure that the right resource gets on the right project at the right time. 


What you'll do:


  • Project success by aligning the right resources to the project and customer.

  • High utilization of delivery resources. 

  • Visibility into resource capacity, as well as who is doing what, and when.

  • Identification and tracking of Engineer skills and certifications. 

  • PSA tool administrative bookings. 

  • Completing administrative requirements for our flexible workforce management tool, Workmarket, used to place independent contractors.


What you'll bring to the table:


  • Working knowledge of service delivery concepts, processes, and procedures. 

  • Practical understanding of basic IT terminology, especially around Microsoft and Cisco technologies. 

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. 

  • Self-motivated and dedication with keen attention to detail.

  • Ideally 2+ years of recruitment experience successfully placing IT talent. 

  • Ability to negotiate contract rates with external contractors 2+ years of related work experience in a professional services or consulting environment.

  • Post-secondary degree, preferred.
