This is not your typical Managed Services setting. Softchoice is a private equity-owned organization, operating on the cutting edge of digital transformation. As a Bilingual Associate Support Engineer, you will be able to categorize and identify events, incidents, changes and problems – ensuring customer environments are maintained and service outages minimized.


What you’ll do:


  • Monitoring many customer environments simultaneously.
  • Responding to all alerts within the Service Level Agreement.
  • Investigating all alerts to determine their validity.
  • Identifying root cause where possible.
  • Organizing the follow up of alerts where required.
  • Demonstrating a sense of urgency in responding to critical alarms.
  • Determining software or hardware failure and processing of defective gear.
  • Being involved in service deliverables such moves/adds/changes and reporting.
  • Escalating any potential problems and client support issues to vendors as per SLA contract.
  • Monitoring and analyzing customer environments, providing recommendations for continuous improvements.


What you’ll bring to the table:


  • Fluent English and French.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2012/R2 and above, VMware.
  • Hands on experience with Monitoring application/software and service ticketing tools.
  • Previous experience supporting field teams as needed during project delivery and transition to support.
  • Availability to work various shifts covering 24/7 call center which includes weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Experience and ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Cisco CCNA and MCSE certification (preferred).
  • 2-3 years networking experience monitoring in a NOC network operations center (e.g. network administrator role).
