As our Technical Leader, we are looking for a Collaboration and Employee Experience Subject Matter Expert and evangelist who enjoys the challenge of building standards and reference architectures, helping to build solutions, and enabling others to succeed.

In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of the professional and managed services offers we launch to market to accomplish our goal.  


What you'll do:


  • Must possess experience in Cisco and Microsoft Collaboration, Productivity and Employee Experience Platforms with a focus on cloud collaboration and productivity technologies. 

  • Delivery excellence – The Technical Leader will help design the Collaboration and Employee Experience services we take to market through development of service delivery standards and reference architectures. They play a key role in the building and launching of new services as well as enhancing existing services and delivery standards. This includes testing and deployment of delivery automation, toolsets, and reference methodologies. 

  • Thought leadership – The Technical Leader will bring a combination of hands-on experience, expert-level accreditation and a demonstrable passion for Cisco and Microsoft Collaboration, Productivity and Employee Experience products and services. In this role, you will be called upon to provide unique insights based on experience with an eye toward new and evolving Softchoice Workplace services. This includes driving awareness within the technical teams at Softchoice of Workplace services and best in class reference methodologies to drive successful business outcomes. The Technical Leader will also conduct delivery trainings and technical events for customers focused on productivity, Teams collaboration, voice, productivity, employee experience and adoption concepts supported by best-in-class reference methodologies to drive successful business outcomes.  

  • Mentorship – The Technical Leader will invest in and be accountable for the growth and development of his/her peers and their skills that enable the successful deployment of service offerings, including delivery engineers and consultants as well as managed services engineers and consultants. 

  • Growth – The Technical Leader will have a shared responsibility for the growth of the overall practice and will demonstrate this by supporting delivery activities, training, creation of hands-on labs as well as marketing event content creation and delivery.

What you'll bring to the table:


  • Comfortable presenting technically challenging topics in front of large groups of people. 

  • Demonstrable experience configuring and implementing Collaboration, Productivity and Employee Experience Platforms. 

  • Service/Product development knowledge or experience. 

  • Vendor certifications are an asset! 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in IT engineering, IT administration, consulting, professional services and/or software engineering. 

  • Minimum Education – Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.  

  • 3+ years of direct customer-facing experience or project management abilities.  

  • Project Coordination and/or project management skills.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong presentation skills.  

  • Consulting and/or Delivery experience a plus.  

  • Ability to communicate effectively with various customers, possess an understanding of curating content, adapting presentation decks, and presenting to both business and technical stakeholders.
