The impact you will have: 

 

As a Solutions Marketing Manager - Cloud, you will combine your superb marketing chops with a deep understanding of IT industry trends and buyers. We are looking for a Solutions Marketing Manager to join our exceptional Corporate Strategy and Communications team to lead marketing efforts in the United States and Canada in support of our Cloud business.

The main objective of the role is to lead thought leadership, content development, and integrated marketing for our solutions in a customer focused way across category, practice and service business units.    The successful candidate will do this by working closely with multiple stakeholders at Softchoice (Product/Business Development, Services, and Marketing) to increase awareness of and demand for modern collaboration and productivity solutions in the midmarket and enterprise customer segments.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Lead the development of solutions themed campaign strategies including demand creation and reputation building.
  • Develop messaging that resonates with the buying audience. Write and socialize solution-level documents including: core messaging content, solution marketing plan, sales enablement plan, and content delivery plan across the buying cycle.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Field Engagement Leads and Sales leaders and product/partner marketing managers to produce a sales enablement plan inclusive of the development of sales content and activities for direct and indirect sales.
  • Serve as market-facing SME/thought leader for the solution and understand how IT trends are changing the way businesses operate.
  • Responsible for sourcing customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use.
  • Build relationships with internal business leaders, technical practice leaders, services and partner marketing peers to bring solutions to market.
  • Conduct market and customer research to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision processes, including key buyer roles.
  • Work with demand generation and marketing operations teams to apply best practices in direct marketing, social media, digital marketing technology, predictive analytics and customer segmentation techniques and tools.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in a B2B product or solution marketing role.
  • Proven ability to create value propositions and messaging strategies.
  • Strong writing, communication, presentation development and delivery skills.
  • Creative mind with a willingness to try new things and build new approaches and best practices.
  • The experience of working in a matrix organization; proven track record of effective communication in a fluid environment with the need to engage and influence multiple stakeholders across a number of functions.
  • Strong understanding of the cloud technology landscape and buyer needs.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead and influence colleagues across other departments and other business units.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Asana an asset.
  • University degree is preferred.
