The impact you will have:

 

This is not your typical sales job! As our Microsoft PreSales Specialist, you will understand the challenges that customers have with the acquisition and management of Microsoft licensing, and you will solve those challenges through the delivery of ongoing solutions that reduce their risk and manage their costs. You will leverage your expertise to coordinate and execute the Microsoft enterprise sales strategy across a district of sales representatives. This includes the efforts to grow our customers through competitive tactics while retaining and enriching the base of existing accounts. You will also manage the local Microsoft partnership to ensure successful execution of this strategy. This role reports to Manager, Microsoft PreSales. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement renewal & true up process. 
  • Manage a pipeline of enterprise-level Microsoft sales opportunities. 
  • Provide pre-sales support to sales reps and customers on Microsoft licensing & cloud solutions. 
  • Identify new Enterprise Agreement and Azure CSP prospects. 
  • Deliver Microsoft product roadmap, licensing and financial content to customers.
  • Participate in local customer events to deliver Softchoice content. 
  • Develop and deliver training to Softchoice sales teams on Microsoft products and services.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services Architects and Managed Cloud Advisors to increase customer’s cloud consumption. 
  • Engage with local Softchoice sales teams and Microsoft sales teams to sell jointly into territories and customer accounts. 
     

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

  • The desire to be competitive and refuse to lose! 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills and the ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level.
  • Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business objectives. 
  • Enterprise-level sales experience.
  • A deep understanding of Microsoft products and services.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience (with Microsoft products and services).
