The impact you will have:

As Softchoice’s newest Partner Account Executive on the Hybrid Cloud team, you will be engaging directly with current VMWARE customers in the renewal cycle, upselling VMWARE technologies and positioning Softchoice solutions and services. You will be a new buying account machine. We're counting on you to seize this chance to smash quotas, conquer milestones and help us achieve our vision, as you pursue your own. Market changes have forced Softchoice to think differently, you will be the first piece of a growing puzzle!

 

What you’ll do:

  1. Win new VMWARE customers:

  • Drive new customer acquisition by winning VMWARE customers renewals and securing services that support their growth within the hybrid cloud.

  • Manage non-incumbent renewal opportunities from the point of assessing customer needs through closing deals.   

  • Manage your pipeline and customer relationships.

  • Collaborate with VMW expert presales technical team members on the sales strategy with the customer while they support driving the technical solution.

  • Apply analytical and strategic thinking, finding unique approaches to hitting your plan and upholding excellent business acumen. 

 

  1. Support VMWARE partnership:

  • Nurture strategic relationships with VMWARE by acting as an extension of VMWARE’ own sales team.

  • Keep updated on VMWARE product and services, industry knowledge and attend product and services training as required.

  • Support the VMWARE demand generation strategy and VMWARE sales activations campaigns. 

  • Ongoing personal development through certificates, training, and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve.

  • Taking care of your fellow internal and external team members and demonstrating collaboration and teamwork while solving challenges.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 1+ years of experience in selling technology solutions in a business development, sales, or pre-sales role.

  • Experience working with SMB and mid-market accounts is a plus.

  • Proven tenacity as a salesperson, pursuing net new clients, developing business, and networking with passion.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and solving complex customers’ problems through analysis.

  • Experience proactively managing relationships at all organizational levels and mobilizing stakeholders to execute and meet key deliverables.

  • A driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work and learn, individually and in a team environment.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
