The impact you will have:

 

The Google Sales Manager will lead a team of Google Account Executives and operate under the Google Category at Softchoice. This is a new position with a new sales strategy and will be instrumental in accelerating the pace of growth for our Google practice. Your team will develop new customer relationships and support our customers in reaching their business objectives through the professional services we deliver. You will play a critical role in hiring, onboarding and managing the sales team and ensuring every member of your team has an active Career Development Plan and is meeting or exceeding sales targets.
 

What you’ll do:
 

  • Report to and collaborate with the Softchoice Google Director to ensure this sales team becomes an onramp for new customer acquisition and demand generation.
  • You will be accountable for growing your team. This will include (but not limited to) recruiting and hiring new Google Account Executives, providing timely coaching, in-role development, and career development planning.
  • Planning/conducting executive and sales presentations to customers, the Google community, and to the Softchoice leadership team. 
  • Creating/building relationships with Google, especially at aligned to strategic segments.  
  • Help develop the sales management process, establish and measure KPIs for your team and adjust focus if required to achieve New Cloud Logo Targets.
  • Grow and diversify our customer base by creating value through Google services attach.  
  • Diligent pipeline and forecast hygiene (in Salesforce.com), celebrate wins and make quick adjustments when needed to ensure we’re meeting revenue and field margin targets by converting pipeline to won opportunities.
  • Lead regional business analysis efforts to develop clear action plans for accelerating revenue and field margin growth.
  • Ensuring that partner sales pipeline, deal registrations and results are tracked and reported.
  • You will be the primary point of customer escalations.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in merit process.


Immediate Goals:

  • Hire open roles effectively and activate/onboard new team members.
  • Activate sales management process and refine where necessary.
  • Define and document the Google sales team's processes and workflows for new account acquisition. This will include qualification, deal management and handoff to the sales teams.  
  • Hit strategic objectives (IE: new customers, services wins, and annual recuring revenue & FM).
  • Foster alignment with Google Mid-Market Enterprise and Small Medium Business Counterparts.  


What you’ll bring to the table:
 

  • 3+ years sales leadership experience
  • Google certifications and/or accreditations (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting to large groups of people
  • Ability to build and execute a prospecting strategy 
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical products and services
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred
  • Understanding cloud professional services is required
  • Passionate about technology and determined to win
  • You share Softchoice values and work in accordance with those values
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma (preferred)
  • The ability to travel up to 25% of the time
