The impact you will have:

The Director, Data and AI will bring a combination of people management experience, agile program management experience, and a demonstrated passion for customer experience and satisfactionThe Director, Data and AI owns the Data and AI practice and will be responsible for the success of this line of business with customers.  

 

As the Director of Data and AI, you will have a significant impact on our customers by: 

  • Guide customers on modernizing and securing their data estates. 

  • Devise strategies for customers to realize a positive ROI on their Data investment. 

  • Helping customers unlock human potential by elevating workforce productivity, collaboration, and quality of work. 

  • Transforming customer experiences with personalized, intuitive AI-powered interactions. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

Strategy Leadership  

  • Lead the strategy and delivery of Data and AI, with a specific focus on the Microsoft platform 

  • Lead the team through development and execution of a comprehensive Data roadmap, adoption and enablement plan tailored to each customer's unique needs. 

  • Be accountable for the financial performance and growth strategy of the Data and AI practice. 

  • Oversee the development and delivery of enablement and continuous improvement programs to empower users and maintain engagement. 

  • Gather and analyze use cases, wins, and scenarios unique to each customer to ensure long-term success. 

  • Bring your experience and thought leadership on data industry trends and advancements to continuously improve service offerings. 

 

Team Leadership 

  • Manage a team of professionals and their assigned workstreams and priorities. 

  • Lead by example required team interactions with Softchoice LOBs such as Sales, Specialty Sales, AI Presales, Category Leadership, PS Services, and others. 

  • Conduct personal development planning for team members with support and alignment to overall cascaded goals. 

Services and PreSales Support and Enablement: 

  • Collaborate with Sales, PreSales, Product Management, and Marketing teams to drive Data transformation initiatives. 

  • Manage workstreams to support providing of presales guidance for the Data and AI portfolio. 

  • Lead team efforts with Sales and Presales to enable the selling of solutions offerings in development or already generally available. 

  • Win buy-in and alignment with key leaders in Pre-Sales, Specialty Sales, Category, and Services leadership to ensure effectiveness in execution of solution launch 

  • Manage and ensure delivery of enablement plan to presales and services. 

 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • At least 10 years' experience in technology Professional Services 

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing direct reports 

  • Proven experience in Data especially the Microsoft Platform including Microsoft Fabric 

  • Strong understanding of data best practices including governance, architecture and operations 

  • Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills with proven ability to manage diverse teams, drive performance, and achieve operational excellence.  

  • Ability to lead cross-functionally and collaborate with various departments. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making. 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
