The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Google is responsible for the development and growth of the Google portfolio of products and services sold within Softchoice across North America.  In this capacity, the BDM will be responsible for the development and execution of a market attack strategy, which will serve as a roadmap for growth. 
What you’ll do:  


  • Progress against key objectives as defined at the start of each fiscal year 
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships within Google 
  • Identify, develop and nurture strategic alliances 
  • Lead sales enablement across Softchoice sales roles for Google solutions 
  • Be responsible for revenue and GP target attainment 
  • Align closely with Sales and Sales leadership to drive joint initiatives 
  • Work with Category Director and Innovation Team leadership to identify and capitalize on opportunities  
  • Collaborate with other BDMs and relevant stakeholders to develop and execute integrated campaigns to drive results  
  • Posses an entrepreneurial spirit and showcase a goal oriented mindset 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align internal and external teams  
  • Passionate about technology with an ability to evangelize complex solutions  
  • Up to date with industry trends and strategies

What you’ll bring to the table: 


  • 7 or more years of professional experience 
  • Demonstrated experience in direct sales and indirect sales (business development) is required 
  • Proven experience in the Technology space with a technical proficiency 
  • Managerial experience in a sales organization would be a plus 
  • Experience with Public Cloud would be a plus
